Chamber of Commerce Committees
Women in Business
The Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce Women in Business was established in 2014. An arm of the Chamber, the group meets monthly and alternates between lunch and evening meetings to give more women in business the opportunity to participate, fellowship and network with others.
Chamber Ambassadors is a committee of goodwill representatives whose mission is to promote the Chamber, and welcome new businesses. Coordinating ribbon cuttings and grand openings for businesses new to Liberty Hill is a great way to help start our members on the road to success.
Monthly luncheons combine motivating guest speakers, great food and an opportunity to network with other business leaders and influential decision-makers.
Lunch ‘n Learn is scheduled on the fourth Thursday of every month except August and December, although the schedule is subject to change. Luncheons are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Networking begins at 11 a.m. Lunch locations change monthly, along with the menu.
The Chamber sponsors various special events throughout the year as a way to help support our community and its businesses.
The Chamber worked closely with the City of Liberty Hill to hold the community’s first Christmas Tree lighting event in 2014. Towering above the city, the light tree was visible throughout the community. The Chamber served refreshments to carolers and helped start a new holiday tradition for the community.
The Liberty Hill Christmas Festival, which is held the first Sunday in December each year, features a parade, the Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk, food and vendor booths, musical entertainment, and Santa Claus. The Chamber continues to play an important role in planning the event.
The Chamber is also involved in the annual Liberty Fit Health & Wellness Fair, held in the fall in conjunction with the Liberty Hill ISD. Member businesses involved in health and safety-related fields have booths at the fair promoting a healthy lifestyle for local families.
In winter 2016, the Chamber will hold a banquet to honor its member businesses and volunteers in the community.
